| Trip to Khet Camp For Grade 1 To VIII |
School trips that involve adventure activities and sports can become the foundation of future interests in children. Today (16.12.2022) Delhi World Public School organized a wonderful trip at Khet Camp for students of Grade I to VIII where children explored sports beyond phones and tablets that included physical activities and fun filled games, zip lining, rock climbing, music and many more exciting things along with tempting meals. | School Winter Carnival |
School carnival is one of the fests which is organized by the collaboration of teachers, parents Children, and staff of the school. On 24 December 2022 from 10:00 AM To 4:00 pm .DWPS Greater Noida Organised christmas Winter carnival based on the theme ‘fun & frolic’ in school premises. The starting of the carnival started with a welcome speech of the respected Director Ms Kanchan Kumari and Principal Ma’am Ms Heema sharma encouraged students to participate more in such school events. This is the best way of relaxing from the daily routines of school. It can also be called the break to the students from the academic studies and daily routine. Parents and special guest Mr Manoj , member of Managing committee,were invited to attend the carnival. There were many stalls set up by the students and teachers from all sections. Food stalls ,game stalls. Magic show , Horse Riding & DJ were the centre of attraction for children. There was a lot of hustle and bustle on the carnival day. Parents enjoyed the carnival very much. Students of different classes were busy helping their teachers till the end of the carnival. There were 4 lucky draws prizes for the parents also the best stalls in the carnival. The stalls which had the best collection of money was awarded. The closing of carnival was conducted with dance & singing and by the encouraging words of principal Ma’am . More than 2500 visitors visited the carnival. |

Language learning is an ongoing activity, apart from the variety of learning strategies we use at school, students benefit from exposure to the language outside their classroom too. Our students of French language recently had a wonderful opportunity to showcase their skills in the language when they participated in an another activity where they not only expressed themselves in french language, but also enjoyed alot and felt confident to express their emotions. The presentation shows that how important it is to express oneself in foreign language too. It’s a proud moment when our scholars are able to tell about expressions. The presentation was really appreciated by our director Ma’am Ms. Kanchan and principal Ma’am Ms. Heema Sharma the way emotions were presented it was admired by all. Our director mam appreciated the efforts of the students who performed this miraculous topic in a soulful way that touched everyone’s heart. |

“A NATION’S CULTURE RESIDES IN THE HEARTS AND IN THE SOUL OF ITS PEOPLE.” The 74th Republic Day of India was celebrated at Delhi World Public School Greater Noida on 26 January 2023 with a great deal of patriotic zeal and fervour. The celebration commenced with the Flag Hosting & welcome of our Honorable Director Ms. Kanchan kumari & Respected Principal Ms. Heema Sharma, by the school band playing patriotic tunes followed by hoisting of our Indian Tricolor flag The Tri-coloured helium balloons were released in the air by principal ma’am to celebrate the freedom of our country. After the Flag Hosting Our respected Principal Ma’am gave an encouraging speech to motivate the students and marked the significance of Republic Day & also put the emphasis that being a citizen of India, we should show high respect and gratitude towards our country and always one should perform the fundamental Duties with sincerity. Later on, Our Honorable Director Ma’am also motivated the students through her speech and emphasis that we are the image of our country so we should beautify it & feel proud to be an Indian. And this Tricolor should be with us everyday not just a single day. Further, to mark the importance of this day, a small cultural programme was organized in the school premises by our little ones, which included Sarswati vandana, Patriotic Song, Mashup song Speech was given by Co-ordinators of each wing, patriotic dance, Fancy Dress Competition, Mime, RAP and a scintillating performance by our little skaters. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity by their performances. The audience were enthralled by the mesmerizing performances of the participants. | Blessing Ceremony For The Students Of Grades X |
On 16 Feburary, 2023 at Delhi World public School, Greater Noida organized a Blessing Ceremony for the students of Grades X as they are going to appear in the forthcoming CBSE Board Examinations- 2023. The ceremony began with tilak of students by Director ma’am and Principal ma’am. Proceeded with brief motivational talks by Director ma’am Ms. Kanchan Kumari and Principal ma’am Ms. Heema Sharma encouraged students to continue meditation which will further help in improving their concentration. They wished them the best saying that they would all come out with flying colours as in previous years. Teachers, conveyed their wishes and suggested they prepare thoroughly and maintain the dignity of their school during the span of the examination. The students felt incredibly inspired by the words of wisdom. Students were gifted by pen pouches, Chocolates and Pens as token of love. Good luck for exam! | Farewell Ceremony |
DELHI WORLD PUBLIC SCHOOL, GREATER NOIDA hosted a farewell ceremony, “NEVER SAY GOODBYE” for the students of the Class XII batch of 2022-23 on 17th February, 2023. The Girls and Boys of the current batch 2023-24 organized the event in unison, to bid a lively and joyful farewell to their seniors. The ceremony commenced with tilak of students by juniors & proceeded by welcome speech. The event began with lighting of lamp by Honorable Director Ma’am, Respected Principal Ma’am along with the Mentors of grade 12th and the event was proceeded by the motivational and good luck speech by our Honorable Director Ms. Kanchan kumari who has always generously imparted her wisdom to the pupils and guided them towards the right path, she expressed her desire to see all the students at the great height of success and guided the senior students for smoothly taking on responsibilities and setting a remarkable example for their juniors irrespective of the situation around them. She gave them helpful advice on how to find way to the expectation of their family and society with their own aspirations and concluded by wishing them happiness and success in all future endeavours and inspired them to leave an indelible mark on society and make the school proud. Later on Respected Principal Ms. Heema Sharma also motivated the students for forthcoming CBSE Examinations by guiding them about the tips and time management skills for the Examinations and also wished good luck to the students for their future. She also expressed her hope that students will continue holding best positions in upcoming Examinations. School is the second home of the students and the students are the heartbeat of the school. All class 12 students were present at the farewell ceremony. The farewell function was proceeded by the dance performance of junior. The class XII students expressed their gratitude towards their beloved teachers. Some of them delivered speeches relating to their experience in the school. Some of them sang on the stage. Students of class XII were also presented the gift of tokens to show the gratitude and love towards the institute. Different tags were awarded to the students, Mr and Ms. DWPS, Ms. Cute Smile, Mr. and Ms. Disciplined, Mr and Ms. Well dressed, etc… Token of love and appreciation was given to the seniors by their juniors At the end of the farewell ceremony, the students of class 12th and 11th both were served refreshment. Then the ceremony came to an end and it was very touching moment for all & Token of love was given them by Director ma’am and Principal ma’am. The day ended by capturing memories with photo sessions Atlast the auditorium was geared up with DJ filling high energies and immense pleasure among all, with the stamps of amazing memories and fun. |

| Holi Celebrations |
Holi Milan is a festive celebration of togetherness and brotherhood, and it is the time when people come together to celebrate the triumph of good over evil. At DWPS Greater Noida, Holi Milan Samaroh was celebrated on 6th March, 2023 as a special occasion where students, teachers, and parents came together to celebrate the festival of colors. The event was compéred by Ms. Prassana, Primary Coordinator. It began with children of classes Nursery and Prep performing traditional Holi dance in colorful costumes. The energy and enthusiasm of the children added to the festive atmosphere, and their performances were appreciated by the audience. Next, the parents took the stage for a fun and lively dance performance. This was indeed a great opportunity for parents to let them enjoy the festivities with their children. After the dance performances, the Holi Milan ceremony began with the tilak wishing ritual. The tilak is a symbol of blessings and good wishes, and it was applied to the forehead of all those present. The ceremony was a beautiful expression of love and respect, as everyone exchanged greetings and well-wishes for the upcoming year. Following the tilak wishing ceremony, the honorable Principal Ms. Heema Sharma highlighted the significance of the Holi festival and emphasized the importance of cultural and communal harmony. The Principal’s speech reminded everyone of the values of peace, unity, and harmony, and encouraged all to celebrate the festival in a spirit of joy and brotherhood. It gives students and parents the chance to become acquainted with their new school environment and learn about the rules and regulations of the institution. In light of this, the school hosted an orientation day for newly enrolled kids and their parents on March 25, 2023. The programme commenced with the warm welcome of the Honourable chief guest, Mrs. Kanchana Kumari, Director, DWPS, Greater Noida, the Principal of the institution, Ms. Heema Sharma, and all the distinguished invitees. This was followed by the auspicious ‘Diya Lighting’ ceremony and a briefing on the school’s vision, mission, and values. In her motivational speech, the principal, Ms. Heema Sharma, shared her comprehensive strategies to provide the best opportunities and amenities to ensure complete grooming of the students in a conducive environment. She also highlighted the innovative scholastic and co-scholastic activities of the school, as well as the expectations from the students and the parents. They addressed the audience and shared their thoughts on how to mould each child to the best, based on their individual competency. Additionally, they assured them of their utmost cooperation and mentorship at every step. In addition to academic and administration, the Orientation Day also included activities related to Experiential Learning, such as Snakes-n-Ladder and Hopscotch, which is a key component of the New Education Policy. The parents were overwhelmed by their childhood memories as well as by the lessons that were taught through these activities. Using these ice-breaker games, they could connect team-building, mental and physical exercise, counting skills, segregating good from bad, and many other concepts as the learning outcomes. A plethora of projects prepared under PBL (Project Based Learning) scheme were displayed and explained by the students of classes I to VIII. The icing on the cake was a captivating interactive session on Financial Literacy and ‘The Importance of Mental Well-being’ that featured riveting presentations focussing on the function of the school counsellor and the parents’ involvement in fostering their wards’ mental health. The orientation day proved to be a commendable step towards fulfilling the aspirations of the management and the parents. The pupils were enthralled with the platform they are embarking for their aspiring journey ahead. The day concluded with the assurance that the ensuing term will be extremely prolific and rewarding. |

CONVOCATION CEREMONY FOR THE YOUNG GRADUATES Graduation Day ceremony is a significant milestone in a student’s academic journey. It is a day of celebration and recognition of their hard work and accomplishments. DWPS, GN celebrated the occasion with the convocation ceremony on 29th May, 2023 for the students of Prep who have moved on to Grade I. Mrs. Kanchan Kumari, The Director of the institution was the Honourable Chief Guest on the Occasion. She applauded the students for crossing one of the important landmarks of one’s life and embarking on to the new expedition of learning. She reiterated the need for devotion, dedication and commitment as they are all set to tread on the new venture. Ms. Heema Sharma, the Principal of the Institution also graced the occasion and addressed the proud parents. She congratulated and thanked them all for their untiring support and stressed that a child needs to be moulded, guided and taught with compassion and understanding both at the school as well as at home. Their future will be assured only if a desire to learn is kindled in their tender hearts. The ceremony commenced with the auspicious ‘Diya Lighting’ which was followed by an array of cultural Bonanza, including group songs and dances, making the day lively and Vibrant. The Tiny Tots of grade Prep in academic session 2022-23 were all dressed in the special convocation ceremony attire – The Academic regalia, which includes a cap and gown – and were feeling on top of the world as they proceeded in a formal march to their seats! The parents were filled with pride and hopes as their wards were bestowed with the title by tendering the Certificates to them by the Chief Guest Mrs. Kanchan Kumari and the Principal of the institute Ms. Heema Sharma. This was accompanied by cheers, applause, and confetti. The short Video presentation highlighting a variety of activities of the toddlers, which the parents are always eager to witness, proved to be a fascinating journey down the memory lane. Overall, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, pride, elation and nostalgia. The ceremony left an impeccable mark as a joyous occasion for both graduates and their loved ones. |

While flameless cooking 							aroused interest of the kids in the kitchen, Music and dance proved to be the great stress 							removers. Training was arranged by the best coaches in the fields of Personality 							development, Shooting, Karate, Skating and other sports activities like cricket, Tennis, 							Basketball. Newly introduced Robotics was the cynosure of technical savvy students. 						The parents of all the participants were also invited to witness the enriching learnings of 							their wards. They were awestruck by the performance and appreciated the efforts of the 							institution in making the summer holidays so rewarding. At the end, Certificates were 							distributed to all the students by honourable Director of the school Mrs. Kanchan Kumari & 							the Principal Ma’am Ms. Heema Sharma. | Student Visit to Ved Park 2023 |
On the bright and pleasant morning of 22nd August 2023, enthusiastic children of Grades I to 							V of DWPS, GN embarked on an educational journey to Ved Park, a local nature reserve known 							for its diverse flora and fauna and creatives on ‘Ved’. The purpose of the visit was to 							introduce the young minds to the wonders of the natural world and foster an appreciation for 							environmental conservation. The excited caravan of almost 200 students were wished Bon 							Voyage and sent off by the Director of the Institute, Hon’ble Ms. Kanchan Kumari and 							Respected Principal Ms. Heema Sharma.
