Holi Celebrations

Holi Milan is a festive celebration of togetherness and brotherhood, and it is the time when people come together to celebrate the triumph of good over evil. At DWPS Greater Noida, Holi Milan Samaroh was celebrated on 6th March, 2023 as a special occasion where students, teachers, and parents came together to celebrate the festival of colors.
 
The event was compéred by Ms. Prassana, Primary Coordinator. It began with children of classes Nursery and Prep performing traditional Holi dance in colorful costumes. The energy and enthusiasm of the children added to the festive atmosphere, and their performances were appreciated by the audience.
 
Next, the parents took the stage for a fun and lively dance performance. This was indeed a great opportunity for parents to let them enjoy the festivities with their children.
After the dance performances, the Holi Milan ceremony began with the tilak wishing ritual. The tilak is a symbol of blessings and good wishes, and it was applied to the forehead of all those present. The ceremony was a beautiful expression of love and respect, as everyone exchanged greetings and well-wishes for the upcoming year.
 
Following the tilak wishing ceremony, the honorable Principal Ms. Heema Sharma highlighted the significance of the Holi festival and emphasized the importance of cultural and communal harmony. The Principal’s speech reminded everyone of the values of peace, unity, and harmony, and encouraged all to celebrate the festival in a spirit of joy and brotherhood.
Finally, the event concluded with phoolon ki holi in which the entire staff participated along with School Director Ms. Kanchan Kumari and Principal Ms. Heema Sharma.
 
The Holi Milan at DWPS Gr Noida was a wonderful opportunity for students, teachers, and parents to come together and celebrate this joyful festival of colors, while also promoting cultural harmony and togetherness.
