CONVOCATION CEREMONY FOR THE YOUNG GRADUATES
Graduation Day ceremony is a significant milestone in a student’s academic journey. It is a day of celebration and recognition of their hard work and accomplishments. DWPS, GN celebrated the occasion with the convocation ceremony on 29th May, 2023 for the students of Prep who have moved on to Grade I.
Mrs. Kanchan Kumari, The Director of the institution was the Honourable Chief Guest on the Occasion. She applauded the students for crossing one of the important landmarks of one’s life and embarking on to the new expedition of learning. She reiterated the need for devotion, dedication and commitment as they are all set to tread on the new venture. Ms. Heema Sharma, the Principal of the Institution also graced the occasion and addressed the proud parents. She congratulated and thanked them all for their untiring support and stressed that a child needs to be moulded, guided and taught with compassion and understanding both at the school as well as at home. Their future will be assured only if a desire to learn is kindled in their tender hearts.
The ceremony commenced with the auspicious ‘Diya Lighting’ which was followed by an array of cultural Bonanza, including group songs and dances, making the day lively and Vibrant. The Tiny Tots of grade Prep in academic session 2022-23 were all dressed in the special convocation ceremony attire – The Academic regalia, which includes a cap and gown – and were feeling on top of the world as they proceeded in a formal march to their seats! The parents were filled with pride and hopes as their wards were bestowed with the title by tendering the Certificates to them by the Chief Guest Mrs. Kanchan Kumari and the Principal of the institute Ms. Heema Sharma. This was accompanied by cheers, applause, and confetti.
The short Video presentation highlighting a variety of activities of the toddlers, which the parents are always eager to witness, proved to be a fascinating journey down the memory lane.
Overall, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, pride, elation and nostalgia. The ceremony left an impeccable mark as a joyous occasion for both graduates and their loved ones.
